The Arcanum

Tarot Coaster Set

Six rounds of natural slate, each laser-engraved with a skeleton drawn from the Major Arcana: The Fool, The Emperor, The Lovers, Death, Temperance, The Devil. The cylindrical holder carries six cocktail picks of different lengths. Before the first glass is poured, each person draws a pick. Length determines role. The cards beneath the glasses remember what you chose.

Engraved by laser on raw natural slate. Each coaster carries its own edge — cracked, uneven, irreducibly geological. The figures are skeletal: post-civilizational versions of archetypes that were already ancient. The holder is cast in a dark material with a crown-like open profile. The picks are steel, unadorned.

This is not a novelty set. It is a fate system for people who still hold ceremonies at tables.

The Cards

Six arcana. Each engraved on a separate slate round. The Fool begins the sequence. The Devil closes it. What falls between them is the question the table has always been asking.

  • 0 — The Fool
  • IV — The Emperor
  • VI — The Lovers
  • XIII — Death
  • XIV — Temperance
  • XV — The Devil

The Mechanic

Six picks. Six lengths. Before the first round is poured, each person draws blind from the holder. The longest pick pours. The shortest judges. The middle lengths confess, receive, serve, or watch — the table decides the rules before it decides anything else.

The Material

Natural slate. Each round has its own fracture pattern at the edge. The engraving is precise; the stone is not. The holder is solid, cylindrical, open at the front. The picks are steel with a small sphere at the head. Nothing here is decorative.
